I’ve looked several times today and can’t find it listed anywhere. Is it a U.S. release? I see it on the Disney Movie Rewards “eligible titles” list, but can’t find it on the Disney Movie Channels “exclusives” list. Do you have to be a member to see it listed? Thanks for your updates. I just discovered this site a couple of days ago and I love it.

Yes, you have to be a member to see them listed.

Thanks! Joining ASAP… can’t wait to own them. I’d love to see the entire Disney Afternoon series available one day. With this website’s dedication and the help of those dedicated to these series we’ll have a greater chance of getting more in the future.

I tried to join, but I don’t have a credit card and they don’t except debit cards. At this point in time I can’t afford to commit to the membership agreement anyway. Unfortunately, I will have to wait until this hits retail to buy them unless someone sells them on Amazon.com sooner. Do you have any word on when this might be available via retail stores?

Outside of maybe DisneyStore.com at some point (no idea when that may be), don’t expect them to hit retail. You could buy them from Disney Movie Club members who re-sell them on eBay or Amazon, but you’ll be paying a lot more for them that way. Currently, you can get both releases for as little as $30 (before shipping) total. You can also pay with a check.

You are not the first OVD member to have issues with the DMC, and being as it seems this is how Disney is going to release more of the Disney Afternoon, understandably, there is conflict. We plan on a campaign event soon asking that the DMC Exclusives been made available to retail outlets again. When they first started the program, the various titles did end up with retail options. Then they stopped that practice for some reason, so we’d love to see that option come back. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the info. I’m going to try and find out if any friends or family have a DMC membership and if they do I’ll see if I can get them to order for me and I’ll pay them cash. If I can’t find anyone I’ll be patiently waiting for Amazon users to sell them. I’m willing to pay a little more for them just as long as they aren’t too overpriced. I’m willing to pay $5-10 more for each volume, but no more than that. Thanks for your help. I will keep a check for more news.

What specific episodes are included in this release? Would whoever orders these sets be kind enough to post the contents?

    • Jason Schlierman 3 May 2013 at 8:52 pm #

While we don’t know specifics, we are assuming it is the first 54 episodes. We hope to have a review for both volumes as soon as possible.
