As we reported earlier, Capcom was going to re-release the classic Nintendo Entertainment System game Disney’s DuckTales (so far as we understand, the game is available for download now). In celebration of this event, iam8bit gallery in Los Angeles, CA is hosting a replace of Scrooge McDuck’s famous money bin! Head Admin Jason took a trip recently and came back with this report:
UPDATE 6/4/13: We just received an official synopsis from Disney Home Entertainment about the final volume of TALESPIN, which reveal that in fact, ALL of the 11 unreleased episodes, including the controversial “Flying Dupes,” will be included. You may read the synopsis below.
We just got word on the heels of the GARGOYLES announcement that instead of GARGOYLES: SEASON 3 as the second DVD release on June 25, 2013 from the Disney Movie Club, it will in fact be TALESPIN: VOLUME 3. BIG NEWS! We have a tentative report that the next DVD release from the Disney Movie Club will be GARGOYLES: SEASON TWO, VOLUME TWO on DVD! No word on if Season Three will be included (although we expect as much), but the tentative release is June 25th, 2013. We will post more as we find out about it, including cover art. Yesterday was our third year anniversary, and to mark the occasion, we are excited to announce our biggest campaign event ever! Please join us as we petition Disney Home Entertainment this coming Friday, May 31, 2013 for unreleased Disney TV Animated Shows, Walt-era Titles, Classic Disney Channel Titles and Muppet titles.
